ALTERATIONS

All gowns crafted by Alpha Brides are made to measure and are NOT subject to alteration costs.

If however you have purchased your gown elsewhere, on the internet or from a friend, I am happy to alter it for you.  I cannot commit myself to a price until I have seen your gown, however some estimated costs are shown below.

Ask your original supplier for an estimate for alterations and then check against my prices.

As an example, unless you have paid extra for "made to measure", wedding dresses are supplied to standard measurements and will often need to be altered at the side seams and the hem. As a general guideline Alpha Brides would charge around £50.00 for this work while many shops quote between £75.00 to £150.00 for the same job.

Bring your gown to me and I will give you a free estimate - I do however ask that you make an appointment to ensure I can give you the time you need.

*Hems - prices shown are for front only, graduating at sides. For hem alteration all the way round, add 50% to the prices shown. To remove or shorten a train, use price as for front.
